Lost electricity from a large tree falling and taking out the line from our pole to PG&E. This happened while we were in Colorado so the power had been of for several days when we returned late Thursday night and found a note saying we had to have area around the power pole cleared and the damage repaired. Friday we cleared the area and started calling electric contractors. John Kilgour answered our call and agreed to come out the next morning (Saturday) he arrived on time and was finished by noon. Good work and fair price.

From initial contact to complete, satisfactory solution, less than 24 hours passed. John was punctual (actually earlier than the window he gave), professional and obviously knowledgeable in his craft. He promptly diagnosed the problem I had originally called him to fix and made the necessary repairs quickly and efficiently. I had another problem with a different light that I asked him to look at. He diagnosed the problem and told me the repair could be expensive, given the amount of time necessary to find an open neutral line somewhere. He came up with an alternate solution that solved my lighting problem without the necessity to spend an inordinate amount of money that was safe and efficient. Great service, I would use him again in a heartbeat.

We had a bathroom renovation completed the previous March. Unfortunately the contractor's brother was his electric sub, so we were strong armed into using him even though we wanted John to do the work from the beginning. The sub did not install the underfloor heating the way it should have been done, and whenever we used it, it would trip the breaker and cut power to the whole bathroom. John is always professional, courteous, and explains everything. He has even done work on July 4th when my husband accidentally cut power to the whole house. His response time was extra quick since it was 104 degrees that day! I always appreciate the his friendly demeanor, and I trust him with all of our electrical needs!!!
